Wayfinder Routing Added to DMS

New Mind has responded to the increased in activity based tourism with the addition of a new wayfinder routing facility to its Destination Management System (DMS).
This innovative new technology is now available to New Mind's DMS customers who are currently using the Enterprise Web Platform and provides access to:-

Detailed maps

Detailed directions
-
Images of the route (eg landmarks)
-
Difficulty ratings
-
Printable route cards
Routes can be created with ease using the Wayfinder tab in the DMS and stored against individual product records. Each route is plotted on a map with a facility to add descriptive information and images. Route cards are dynamically generated using the route information stored against the product, providing continuous updates and consistency across any sites where the route is published.
Any routes stored within the DMS can be downloaded onto GPS enabled devices and new routes can also be imported seamlessly from a range of standard formats.
