The new www.NewcastleGateshead.com represents a culmination of New Mind's knowledge and experience in the tourism sector over the last 12 years and is a worthy representation of the area's status as a world-class destination. 

New Mind was selected to develop the site in March following an intense tender process involving eleven prospective suppliers.  The brief from the NewcastleGateshead team was to increase income generation, improve collection and use of consumer data and to ultimately reflect the key principles of inspire, inform and book. 

www.NewcastleGateshead.com is the definitive resource for NewcastleGateshead, Sunderland, North Tyneside and South Tyneside, known collectively as Tyne and Wear.  The site's bold design, striking imagery, intuitive navigation and innovative functionality aim to take the region to a new level of performance. 

Enhanced product displays, with improved visual appeal and enriched content, provide instant access to key information for attractions, accommodation and events.  The 'view all' navigation improves visibility and boosts awareness of the destination's extensive range of experiences on offer. Itinerary ideas, tailored searches and sophisticated mapping tools engage the visitor throughout their journey around the site, allowing them to make the most of their stay. Integrated social media including YouTube and twitter add a further dimension to the site.

New Mind's eTourism solution, branded Desti.ne in the North East, provides the foundations for all of the informative content and sophisticated technology on the new site.
