Marketing Manchester, the agency which promotes Manchester on a national and international stage, is forging ahead with the development of a series of websites following their investment in New Mind's Destination Management and Content Management solutions.
Marketing Manchester purchased the Enterprise Content Management System (eCMS), providing their in-house web team with the capability to develop sophisticated sites without the need for external design or technical intervention.
Work is currently underway on the development of Visit Manchester's new corporate site in-house using the eCMS and New Mind's DMS will also provide the foundations, powering a wealth of rich content on the organisation's activities and sophisticated functionality. The site, due to go live this Summer, will feature a members' extranet and members' forums to facilitate ease of communication with the organisation's network of partners.

Work is also currently underway on a new Industrial Powerhouse themed site which will promote the industrial heritage of England's Northwest, with information on museums, mills, waterways, railways, textiles, fashion and much more. A new Countryside site is also being developed exploring the 500 miles of quiet secluded greenery surrounding the towns of Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham. The site will provide a comprehensive guide to the area with information on fine dining, traditional pubs, walking and cycling trails, country parks and museums and galleries.
Both sites will be continuously updated by Marketing Manchester's various stakeholders using the eCMS and will be supported by regular marketing campaigns to generate awareness and drive traffic to the new sites.
