New Mind Wins Best Small Business

New Mind last night won the "The O2 Small Business of the Year" award at the Liverpool Daily Post's Regional Business Awards. Judges were particularly impressed with New Mind's clear and creative business strategy.

The black tie event, hailed the most prestigious event in Merseyside's business calendar, attracted hundreds of leading business figures to St George's Hall. It was hosted by newsreader Peter Sissons and saw a speech from music mogul Pete Waterman.

It is an exciting era for New Mind. Having established a major share of the UK tourism market with its acclaimed Destination Management System, staff are busy exploring opportunities for its tourism software in overseas markets, while its growth strategy is in full swing. There are five new members of staff at the Queens Dock Business Centre premises and New Mind's Romanian office is in the process of moving to larger premises, with plans to double the eight-strong team over the next 12 months.
