Conference Success for Imaginations and New Mind

Leading conference and event management company, Imaginations and New Mind have joined forces to implement New Mind's Destination Management System (DMS) at ExCeL, the international exhibition and conference centre in Docklands, London.

New Mind and Imaginations have worked together on a number of web projects in recent years. Imaginations spotted an opportunity for the DMS to be utilised to handle hotel bookings for the conference centre, resulting in the development of www.excel-london-hotels.co.uk. The system integrates with Rate Tiger which allows hotels to update rates and availability to various distribution channels and travel portals.

Visitors to the site will access New Mind's DMS functionality to book one of the five hotels on site, ranging from luxury to budget or will be offered a choice of 8000 additional hotel rooms within 20 minutes of ExCeL London.

Managing Director of New Mind, Richard Veal comments "This is a really exciting project for us as it is the first time that our DMS has been implemented in a conference environment. The system has already established market leadership within the UK tourism sector and is now set to exploit the huge potential offered by the lucrative conference market".
