We currently have the following job vacancies in our Liverpool office:
SUPPORT DEVELOPER
(Salary 15-20K)
As part of the Support Team the candidate's main responsibilities will be to fix issues on New Mind websites reported by our expanding customer base. A 'can do' attitude and first class problem solving skills will also be key, as is the ability to work quickly under pressure and provide solutions that are accepted by customers at the first time of asking. Although this is not primarily a customer facing role, the candidate may be asked to liaise directly with clients, and in exceptional circumstances, help on the Service Desk. Good communication skills, both written and verbal are therefore also necessary.
The successful candidate should have some exposure to a web development environment and the following core skills:
- Expertise in hand coding HTML/CSS to strict web standards and cross browser / platform compliance.
- Experience in web technologies, preferably ASP in VBScript.
Advantageous:
- Java Script
- SQL Scripting
- Flash
- Exposure to complex content management systems
- Previous experience of working on an Application Support Team
- Web application testing
- Awareness of SEO
