As we approach the end of another year, it seems like an appropriate time to reflect on the key events and milestones of 2009 and look forward to the momentum continuing in 2010....

Jan 09 - Our official 10th birthday and the launch of the stunning new www.visitnortheastengland.com site, exploiting all of the potential of our eCMS

Feb 09 - A new look www.visitlancashire.com is launched and Richard gets an invitation to attend a select gathering at Buckingham Palace

Mar 09 - The final jewel in the South West tourism crown, Bournemouth select New Mind's Destination Management System and our new mobile application is rolled out

April 09 - New Mind is appointed to exploit the wealth of Medway's tourism opportunities with a DMS and three new dedicated sites for Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham

May 09 - Microsoft collaborate with New Mind and VisitBrighton on the launch of their new Photosynth technology and we appoint Intelly, our first overseas reseller in Brazil

June 09 - Our new self catering module is launched addressing all of the requirements of the sector and our newly developed site for Wirral is hailed a great success

July 09 - The launch of our new brand identity, celebrating 10 years in destination management, a flying start for the new Visit Bournemouth site and the rollout commences for a major Cornwall project

Aug 09 - One North East awards a new three year contract, Bournemouth achieves a record number of visitors and the new inspirational www.visitdevon.co.uk is launched

Sep 09 - We are successful with our bid to implement the DMS in South East Wales, resulting in the redevelopment of www.visitcardiff.com

Oct 09 - We achieve Microsoft Certified Partner status, boosting our e-tourism solution and Visit Britain invite us to join their select EnglandNet Operations Group

Nov 09 - A new world-class website is launched for Visit Cornwall and we announce the appointment of Spanish reseller, Vilau

Dec 09 - We win our first tourism contract in the East Midlands and add Visit Lincolnshire to our rapidly expanding client list
