New Mind Develop Site for England's Classic Resort

New Mind has been selected to help Southport to reinforce its reputation as a premier destination for culture, leisure, business and outstanding customer service.

A new website will be designed and developed by New Mind, reflecting the essence of Southport as England's Classic Resort and representing its vibrant, contemporary nature whilst retaining the heritage element of its brand personality. 

The site will be more interactive, engaging visitors and compelling them to explore its content and ultimately book a visit to one of the many events, attractions and experiences on offer.  New features will include interactive mapping, enhancements to the search, online booking and product functionality and the inclusion of social media.  Internal staff will be given unprecedented control over the websites content, structure and functionality.

Steve Christian, Sefton Tourism's Marketing and Visitor Services Manager, comments "We chose New Mind to redevelop our website due to their knowledge of the sector, the functionality of their eCMS (Enterprise Content Management System) and the excellent working relationship we already have with them. The new site will provide an improved experience for visitors and will enable us to tailor the site to maximise the breadth of Southport's tourism offer".

Southport's new site is due to go live in April.
