New Mind has just returned from the European Travel Commission's (ETC) eBusiness Academy in Lillehammer, Norway.
The ETC's annual flagship marketing and technology event is aimed at professionals working for Europe's national tourism organisations (NTOs). The objective is to market and promote tourism to Europe from international markets, particularly the United States, Canada, Latin America and Japan.
New Mind attended as one of a select group of sponsors and presented a series of workshops entitled 'A Multi-Channel Approach to Destination Marketing'. The workshops aimed to promote the benefits of storing tourism content in one central location and provided ideas on some lucrative marketing and distribution channels, both new and emerging, including websites, lifestyle sites, kiosks, contact centres and Hotel TV.
