In December 2008 the internal team at One North East launched their in-house developed site, www.visitnortheastengland.com, exploiting New Mind's eCMS (Enterprise Content Management System) technology. The site was an instant success, winning the North East Digital Awards Best Public Sector Website category in March 2009.
