Information Executives

Information relating to accommodation, attractions, events, tourism services, tourism suppliers and gazetteer information (geographical features and areas) can be collected and maintained in a secure environment within New Mind's DMS.

System Administrators have the ability to set up user system access profiles and permissions for information executives.

User Scenario 1

A Regional Information Collection Co-ordinator receives an updated Quetionnaire from a local hotel including missing contact information. She is able to pull up the hotel's product record from the database and use the edit facility to swiftly update the missing information. The new details are instantly displayed across all web sites powered by the DMS.

User Scenario 2

A new marketing campaign aims to highlight the increasing number of cycle routes available in a region. The Information Exec creates a new product called Cycle Routes within the Product Management module and includes details regarding the route length, area, general description and a map. An online questionnaire can then be created based on the information required and distributed to other cycling related organisations and businesses.
