Lillehammer's latest channel site combines outstanding natural beauty with authentic cultural experiences to provide visitors with all the ingredients for a trip to remember.
The site, www.lillehammer.com/intonorway inspires visitors to experience the true diversity of the region's local culture whilst exploiting the unique adventures on offer in its stunning natural surroundings.
Visitors are inspired to explore the region, from the town of Lillehammer and the beautiful Gudbrandsdalen valley in the South to Rondane National Park in the North, sampling the areas numerous cultural gems, heritage accommodation and traditional Norwegian food along the way. A popular attraction is the travelling theatre performance of the famous play, Peer Gynt by Norwegian dramatist, Henrik Ibsen which takes place at Lake Gålåvatnet with the mountains as a spectacular backdrop.
