New Mind | tellUs will be boosting its presence in North Wales following the award of a new contract by the regional DMO, North Wales Tourism this week.
The organisation isn't the first to enlist the tourism expertise of New Mind | tellUs in Wales. The company has already developed a suite of four sites for Destination Conwy and implemented a kiosk interface for its six tourism information points. The new regional site will represent a promotional platform for the whole of North Wales, signposting visitors to the area's most popular destinations.
The tourism offer in North Wales is varied and plentiful. The Snowdonia mountain range, 250 miles of coastline (with 12 Blue Flag Beaches), popular coastal resorts and the Isle of Anglesey are just some of the area's key assets. For outdoor enthusiasts, the needs of everyone from adventure seekers to those favouring more sedate activities are catered for. From zip wiring and white water rafting to walking and cycling, visitors can find something to do in North Wales. Heritage and culture is on offer in abundance too with historic houses and gardens, castles, heritage railways, museums and galleries and festivals.
For the new site, a responsive format is a prerequisite with improved booking functionality for online and telephone bookings, enhanced commercial opportunities for providers and the ability to incorporate user generated content such as TripAdvisor reviews and other social media elements.
Jim Jones, Managing Director of North Wales Tourism said "I am really looking forward to working with New Mind | tellUs on the development of the new gonorthwales website, promoting the destination with its vast range of activities, visitor attractions, events, food and drink and accommodation. These are exciting times for the region and I know that New Mind | tellUs will develop a website that will be unique and inspirational, aimed at generating new business for our members."
The new site is due to go live in March 2016.
