Tourism Essentials Template - Flexibility Meets Affordability

10th February 2015

Categories: Our News

Introduced with DMOs' budget constaints in mind, the 'Tourism Essentials' website template from New Mind | tellUs is our most cost-effective solution to date and it's already proving to be a hit, both in the UK and overseas.

The Tourism Essentials template provides DMOs with a more cost-effective option if budgets are limited, acting as a starting point and providing the flexibility to add further commercial and promotional functionality when needed.  There's no compromise on the quality of build with a responsive format as a given and the same seamless user experience featured in our standard sites.

In the UK for example, Visit South Devon has just opted for the Tourism Essentials template for the development of its new destination site, purchasing additional functionality including banner ads, online booking, featured pages, Event Submission Form and the all-important Itinerary Planner.

The City of Gloucester has also opted for the template approach for a brand new site which will feature a well-designed, great value platform in preparation for their all-important year ahead.  The City is celebrating 'Gloucester 2015 - Our Big Year'  in which they will be hosting the Rugby World Cup, the Tall Ships Festival and a sculpture trail so with the focus on events being key, Gloucester has upgraded the template to include many of the New Mind | tellUs signature event functionality such as the Events Calendar and Event Submission Form.

Destination Harstad in Norway is also taking the Tourism Essentials route with a view to adding further channel and campaign page templates in the future.
