New Mind | tellUs is currently in demand in the South West of England with another new site to add to its portfolio following the launch of

Hot on the heels of the launch of the new Visit Dartmoor site last month, South Devon is now celebrating the completion of a new fully responsive site, built using the Tourism Essentials template from New Mind | tellUs.

The site's crisp, uncluttered design showcases the stunning South Devon landscape, with its wonderful coastlines, breathtaking countryside, quaint villages, busting market towns and vibrant cities.  All the features that visitors expect to find are included, with swift access to the area's abundance of activities and attractions via the highlighted products, Inspire Me, Itinerary Planner and special offers functionality, not to mention banner ads for revenue generation and a blog featuring guest writers too.

The new site aims to build on the success of the previous site, raising awareness of South Devon as a destination and driving increased business to the region's tourism industry, whilst continuing to perform well in the natural search engine results.  A 100% increase in visitors had been experienced since 2012, as well as top rankings in Google for key search terms.

Stephanie Cherrett, General Manager of Visit South Devon comments "Visit South Devon were really keen to have a more modern, user-friendly and responsive website which allowed imagery to take the lead, allowing us to showcase the beauty of the region to people planning their holiday here. The new Tourism Essentials template allowed us to achieve this and working with New Mind | tellUs meant it was a smooth, straight forward project which was on time and budget - all very important factors to us! We're really pleased with the new site and have received a lot of positive feedback already."

Stuart Longrigg, Chair of Visit South Devon comments "With tourism bringing over £539,000,000 to the South Devon economy each year it is essential we all work together to secure its continued success.  The new website is one important step towards that, the importance of which should not be underestimated."
