Salisbury BID Project Represents a Joined-Up Strategy

New Mind | tellUs has been tasked with the creation of a new website for Salisbury BID (Business Improvement District) targeted at local residents, businesses and tourists.
The development of the new site forms part of a joined-up marketing strategy for Salisbury, reducing duplication, aligning marketing campaigns and generally improving Salisbury's competitive position to enable it to become one of the top destinations in the South for both day and staying visitors.
Known as the 'city in the countryside', Salisbury is surrounded by a quintessentially English landscape and is famous for its Early English Gothic cathedral, home to the Magna Carta, as well as some of England's finest historic houses.
The joint project between New Mind | tellUs customer, Visit Wiltshire and Salisbury BID will result in the development of a new channel website, based on the Visit Wiltshire template and accessible from the main site but with its own bespoke homepage. As well as the usual tourism content, residents and visitors will be able to browse a full business directory to access a range of services including dentists, accountants and letting agents. The Events calendar will also be reinvigorated to include additional events which will be beneficial to Salisbury businesses as well as residents and visitors.
The New Mind | tellUs SEO team is working closely with both Visit Wiltshire and the Salisbury BID to ensure that both sites are well optimised and are structured in an intuitive manner which signposts visitors to relevant content, whether they are local businesses, residents or tourists.
The site is expected to be launched in the Summer.
