The redevelopment of the official tourism site for the Cotswolds by New Mind | tellUs will contribute to the economic growth of one of the UK's top six best performing destinations (as ranked by VisitEngland).
The Cotswolds as a destination is a recognised brand both nationally and internationally. Visitors have access to a unique combination of high quality offers including vibrant towns and cities, picturesque villages, heritage attractions, locally sourced food and drink and stunning landscapes.
While the Cotswolds is a top performing destination, with high awareness and appreciation, there is significant potential to increase tourism activity and product development, ultimately leading to a better visitor experience.
The reinvigorated www.cotswolds.com will be one of the primary marketing tools for the newly formed DMO, the Cotwolds Tourism Partnership, to raise the profile of both domestic and international tourism in the Cotswolds.
The website will be designed to a responsive format with a contemporary, clean new look and intuitive access to the area's abundant attraction and accommodation listings. Cotswolds imagery portraying the beauty of the area will be exploited to its full throughout the site and a plethora of content will aim to boost visitor numbers and overnight stays, increasing visitor spend and ultimately fueling the local economy.
The project will commence with a design workshop, a process which is currently proving to be extremely productive both for clients and the New Mind | tellUs project teams. The workshop will provide a unique opportunity to capture the client's exact requirements, ensuring that the destination's brand identity is accurately conveyed and the optimum solution is implemented going forward.
