New Mind | tellUs has been selected to redevelop the website for one of the UK's favourite seaside destinations following the success achieved by the current site, www.visitnewquay.org.
Located on Cornwall's Atlantic coast, Newquay is regarded as the surf capital of the UK, as well as being ranked as one of the top ten beach destinations in the country. The new site will highlight Newquay's extensive action menu including kitesurfing, diving, kayaking and bodyboarding as well as its more relaxing and family friendly pursuits. Newquay also boasts a packed events programme, from music festivals to surfing championships, all of which will benefit from an enhanced promotional platform.
Responding to the needs of today's visitor, the design of the new VisitNewquay site will be responsive for seamless mobile browsing with an updated design and improved marketing opportunities for the destination's tourism businesses.
New Mind | tellUs completed the development of the current version of the site in July 2012. Since then the team at NMtU and VisitNewquay have worked in partnership to improve the site's performance, achieving a growth of 230% in unique visitors between 2012 and 2015. VisitNewquay also currently ranks no. 1 in Google for the majority of the destination's key search terms as a result of the site's built-in SEO capability.

The new site is scheduled to go live during Spring 2016.
