Finding your way around Eastbourne and the South Downs just got easier thanks to a new trail app released by NVG last week.
Designed for iPhone and Android, the free to download Eastbourne Trails app currently features two self-guided trails.
The East of the Pier Heritage Trail is a fascinating tour around Eastbourne's Victorian and Edwardian heritage, starting and ending at Eastbourne Pier. The Blue Plaque Heritage Trail allows visitors to discover the landmarks of Eastbourne's celebrated people, from Tommy Cooper to Ernest Shackleton.
Both apps guide visitors around a series of landmarks displaying photos, interesting facts, directions and points of interest. All data is cached on visitors' devices meaning that no expensive roaming data charges will be incurred whilst out and about.
Visit Eastbourne plans to add further trails throughout the year. Meanwhile, the development of a new fully responsive visitor site and eight channel sites is currently in progress by the team at NVG. Read our news article to find out more...
