New Mind | tellUs Selected for Drive to Boost Tourism in North Wales by £200m

The striking new Go North Wales site developed by New Mind | tellUs forms part of a new drive to boost the North Wales economy by £200 million a year.
North Wales Tourism is the biggest tourism membership company in Wales with a growing membership of more than 1000 tourism businesses. Tourism already generates over £2 billion a year and employs 40,000 people in the region. The organisation now wants to raise its profile in London as well as its key target markets of the North West, Midlands, Yorkshire and Cheshire.
The site, www.gonorthwales.co.uk inspires visitors to explore the 'North Wales wonderland' and its world-class tourism offer. Snowdonia National Park and three Areas Outstanding Natural Beauty are featured as well as world-class heritage sites such as the Pontcysylite Aqueduct and castles at Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Conwy. Stunning beaches, spectacular mountain scenery and fascinating ancient culture and heritage are all represented by brand new imagery from award winning photographers as well as Visit Wales' own comprehensive image libraries.
Managing Director of North Wales Tourism, Jim Jones said: "The new www.gonorthwales.co.uk website for us is the digital gateway to tourism in North Wales, so it’s incredibly important that we get it right. We want to take tourism to the next level and the new branding, imagery and website are key staging posts on our path to prosperity"
The development of the website has been overseen by Gareth Daniels, head of digital experience at North Wales Tourism. Gareth comments "I am delighted with the new website from New Mind | tellUs.
