Isle of Man Tourism Enlists New Mind | tellUs for Year-Round Growth Plans

A new website and e-tourism solution from New Mind | tellUs will act as a springboard for the promotion of the Isle of Man as a quality year-round visitor destination whilst boosting the economic and social benefits from tourism and the visitor economy.
The Isle of Man is situated between the coastlines of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, in the middle of the Irish Sea and attracts 300,000 visitors generating £107m per annum to the local economy. The majority of the island's visitors travel from the UK, in particular the North West and the South East, with the TT races and motorsport events attracting worldwide interest.
The design, content and imagery for the new site will highlight the beauty of the Island and ability for visitors to ‘get away from the hustle and bustle of life’. A more personalised experience will result from the integration of sophisticated CRM functionality and improved data capture, taking the visitor from the dreaming to sharing phase of their journey. The site will be crafted with the mobile visitor in mind, with all devices delivering the same browsing experience resulting from a responsive design.
The site will exploit the Isle of Man's recently awarded status as a UNESCO Biosphere. The island is the only entire jurisdiction in the world to be awarded this prestigious title which recognises the way in which the Island’s population exists alongside a plethora of diverse natural habitats. The greatest road racing event in the world, the TT races will be highlighted, as well as a host of alternative motorsport events, food festivals, agricultural shows and cultural experiences.

The implementation of the new e-tourism solution and website is due for completion in Autumn 2016.
