Polling Proving Popular for New Mind | tellUs DMOs

A number of New Mind | tellUs DMO clients have recently opted to introduce our Polling Engine to their solutions, enabling accommodation providers to present availability from multiple booking channels within the destination sites.
Many of our destinations' accommodation providers already promote availability and offer online booking through the major booking sites and OTAs. Rather than developing new online booking functionality, the Polling Engine is a tool which has been developed by New Mind | tellUs to retrieve this availability allowing providers to promote their availability and allowing visitors to search, retrieve results and compare prices from multiple sources, all from the main destination website.
The Polling Engine is a tried and tested tool which has been successfully implemented for a number of New Mind | tellUs destinations including Liverpool, Lancashire, NewscasteGateshead, English Riviera and Dorset. In recent months however, the team has undertaken technical integrations with LateRooms and Expedia to further enhance the range of OTAs to book through. This has resulted in a rush of new interest from DMOs, with South Devon, Dartmoor, Plymouth and the Cotswolds all currently queuing up for polling integration.
The integration of Polling delivers benefits to both the DMO and its accommodation providers. Providers have a straight forward option for promoting their availability on destination sites with no increase on their own workload. For the DMO, Polling allows more booking options to be presented to the visitor and eliminates the need for DMOs to manage the availability process for their members.
