Manchester's MEET & INVEST Sites Complete the Place Marketing Offer

Two new sites encouraging business tourism and inward investment into Manchester have been launched, representing the completion of the second phase of a major place marketing project for New Mind | tellUs.

Marketing Manchester's MEET and INVEST sites are standalone sites, independent of the recently completed tourism site, www.visitmanchester.com but residing within the Destination Manchester umbrella brand, retaining a consistent design and presenting a more joined up picture of Manchester. The sites tap into the rich functionality of our e-tourism solution, offering the user functionality such as venue searches, blogs and events listings.

The MEET site promotes Manchester's extensive conference and meeting facilities, supporting the accommodation booking, venue location and event planning services offered by the Manchester Convention Bureau.  Venue listings can be searched, filtered and sorted to suit the business visitor's specific needs (venue type, location and capacity) whilst providing Marketing Manchester's members with an effective promotional platform to showcase their business facilities, backed up by high quality images and videos.  The site's search results include map views for venues, with conference specific information such as capacity and distance from the airport and city centre.  The site's dynamic content includes news, events, success stories and facts and figures.

The INVEST site provides a host of content, with sector information, local investment opportunities, incentives, labour and skills and investment laws, all of which will be continually refreshed by the Marketing Manchester team.  Users are guided through the relocation process and directed to relevant support and information from Marketing Manchester and its partners,  depending on their business sector and exact requirements.   The site incorporates a property search facility with sophisticated filtering by location, type, tenure and size.  Sector specific information including news, events, job listings and relevant clusters, backed up by a comprehensive library of resources, all helps to position Greater Manchester as the ideal investment location.
