New Mind | tellUs client, Visit Telemark is maintaining its strategy of continuous innovation, this time with a focus on hiking and biking enthusiasts.

The Norwegian DMO launched its new Tourism Pro site in July in order to take the destination to the next level by introducing an improved design and additional functionality.  The momentum continues this month with the launch of a new hiking channel site and an updated design for its biking site to capitalise on Telemark's vast network of trails for all levels of enthusiast.

Telmark's stunning landscape of hilly mountains and beautiful coastline, incorporating hundreds of trails taking in a diverse range of accommodation, food and drink, nature and cultural attractions along the way, delivers the ultimate hiking and biking experience.

The redesigned product list and product detail pages on the biking channel site offer visitors the ability to search routes by level of difficulty, duration, terrain and distance.  The mapping functionality has been modified to reflect relevant activities such as bike rental, bike trails and bike friendly accommodation.

The new hiking channel site is the go-to resource for all levels of enthusiast, from short and easy walks to more strenuous day trips.  The site utilises the same design and functionality as the biking site, with enhanced product lists and new improved mapping featuring hiking specific activities.
