The promotion of a destination requires specific technologies. It generates a huge amount of data, and the functionality that is required for the management of tourism information, CRM and the handling of online bookings needs a specialist approach.
When the company was formed in 1998, New Mind worked on providing web solutions to a wide range of companies. But when we saw the needs of the tourism industry we focused on producing a tailored solution for them, our e-tourism platform, which has formed the basis of everything we’ve done since.
The merger with TellUs in Norway in 2013 came about as a result of the startling synergies between the two companies. Both had grown independantly in the same space, offering very similar technologies to destinations. Bringing the two together was an obvious decision.
Over the past 18 years we’ve worked with on a national level with organisations like Visit Scotland and on a regional, county or city-based perspective like Fjord Norway, Visit Liverpool and Visit Bergen.
We do two things; we offer a technology platform enabling tourism partners to manage their data, and we develop digital channels like websites, smartphone apps and web applications for them to promote their destination to the world.
